NumberWorks@home Technical Support

It is strongly recommended that you download the latest version of the NumberWorks@home software from the website. The latest version is v1.12. Older versions will not work correctly on Windows Vista computers.

Installation

1. Insert the NumberWorks@home CD-ROM or open the NumberWorks@home Setup Kit that you downloaded from this website. The Setup kit will appear:
   
   
   
2. Click the Next button.
   
   
   
3. Click the I Agree button to continue.
   
   
   
4. Click the Install button.
   
   
   
5. The program should only take a few seconds to install. Press the Finish button to complete the installation and launch NumberWorks@home.
   
   

Register NumberWorks@home

1. When you run the launcher, it will begin in demo mode allowing only the 3 times table to be used. Click the Register button.
   
   
   
2. Type in your CD serial number, name, and email address into the boxes and click the Register Online button.
   
   
   
3. If you have internet access and your antivirus/firewall software is not blocking the program, a confirmation message should appear.
   
   
   
4. Click OK and the launcher window will re-appear, this time with the full program unlocked. Click the Start button to launch NumberWorks@home.
   
   

Troubleshooting

If you do not have internet access, or you have antivirus/firewall software that blocks NumberWorks@home from connecting to the internet, you can register the software manually from a computer that does have internet access. Click the Manual Registration button in step 2 instead of the Register Online button.

NumberWorks@home requires DirectX installed on your computer.

NumberWorks@home requires sound to operate. If your computer does not have sound working, the software may not operate correctly.
